heres a moral fo you guys

well ive always had a reason to save every part off of somethng. i learned that with my skid steer at 9 30 last night. the fuel pump crapped the bed so i could not clean the ally but luckly i had a used 1 off it that ive been saving for the last 5 yrs and i always had a reason to save everything.

My father saved everything. When he died we cleaned out his used parts pile. Took us two days and seven pickup loads to haul it all off. Saved the stuff that was truly still good. But most of it was junk.Don't get me started on baleing wire he had.

I have told those around me, that my "Inactive Materials Inventory" is here for a good purpose, after I'm gone they can $crap it all. It's bailed me out lots of times. Today I installed a scrounged 5HP motor on an air compressor. The 12ga. wire, conduit, circuit breaker were all used, on hand. No money needed.

Ever notice how when it's a man , it's an inactive material inventory controller but when it's a woman , she's a HORDER ??? LOL

That is so one can differentiate who is doing the "saving".
usually in a mans' case it is JUNK in the eyes of the fairer s*x.

You got that stright to the Wife it is JUNK. But you notice all the things she has in the attic is GOLD.

yep, broke the belt on the golf cart last night, but i had kept the old one, took a 1/2 mile walk out of the woods, and a drive to the shop and back, then walk back into the woods, but i got it back home, now just need another air filter, it broke it plum off

Better to have and not need than need and not have.................

My problem is just finding it when I need it and not after I buy another...........

thats a good plan, but one word of warning,,after 70 years youve not used it,you probably aint going to!lets see,its like i have some model a parts, all used ,all taken off since they werent working right, but kept them because I may need them. just because I havnt owned one in fifty years doesnt mean anything, I got the parts, cant ever tell someone may come driving down the road in a model A one of these days, break down and need one of those used up worn out parts i kept to get back home!
