Where did they go?

Just dawned on me after looking at those photos from Scotland. The one with the seagulls or whatever them birds are that I don't see them here in southern Mn. anymore. Use to come out before you had the first round made with the moldboard plow. Sometimes there would be 30 or more at a time following the plow. I still moldboard plow but have not seen them birds in years. What happened to them?

Ya, I remember those. One landed on the disk one time, roade along for 15 seconds or so. They kept daring each other to get closer; closest one to the implement would get the worm....

Been 7-8 years since I saw a couple, been 20 or so since I saw the 100+ flocks.

We still have them here near Lake Ontario, especially in town near McDonalds. Not the nicest birds in my opinion, but I guess they're just trying to get by the same as us.

They are all over Central Illinois. When I go fishing they hover over my boat whenever I start up and go. Also in parking lots and farm fields.

With the advent of the Internet, they're all online and they found out where the landfills are from Google Earth. Why hang around waiting for a guy on a tractor to turn over a worm or two when you can fly over to an all-you-can eat buffet?
