Only in La., it's 81 deg at 10:10, and forecast for 90. It's hot and dry, yet some are threatened by the flooding Miss.

must be nice!!!! we have had 3/4 inch since last sept. 100deg temps and 30-40 mph wind for the last month. Started cutting what little wheat there is last week. Everything is brown just like the middle of winter. We need water, bad!!!!!

This is a truly good rain here. Cows on pasture, everything planted, about 2" so far, and still coming down. Just now starting to run off and fill the watering holes up. I like it!

Here on the other end of Nebr. the rain was spotty, but after two days of 90+, any moisture on that corn laying in dry dirt is welcome. Some people got gully washers here. My road, was still dusty.

That would be nice, only getting 12 hours of rain per day. I'm sittin' here tryin' to figger out a way to put my lawnmower on pontoons so I can mow the lawn.

big fred, about 25 mi NW of Mt Rainier, WA.

Same here. Got a bit more than 2" thus far, south of you a few miles. No puddles in the fields yet. All soaking right in. Had planted some grass and alfalfa and some dryland corn Monday. Hope it gives them a good start.

Not in lower Alabama, we"re 7 to 12 inches under annual rainfall, and doesn"t look hopeful according to the prognosticators. If we are to catch up we"ll need a hurricane, so the south end of the state can look like the north end, but we"ll get the water we need, life is perplexing.

Last night the weatherman said that yesterday is the first time it has been 70* since October 3. I just mowed the lawn for the first time this year.

2 weeks ago we had all the moisture we could use. Everything we were getting was running off. With the wind and a few days of sunshine, amazing how fast it dries out. The .90 of rain we have gotten in the last 24 hours has just been perfect. 50 miles west of Pierre SD.

Our renter planted the entire farm to corn on Easter Sunday. From a few drizzles, the ground was crusted so bad that almost none of it was even peeking through yet.

We got 60 hundreds of rain yesterday afternoon, and sunny today. It was amazing how it all jumped up about three inches today.
