OT - For you Texans that are still choking on dust and smoke

i went out last nite to get something out of my truck...couple cold drops hit my back and it scared the crap outta me...been so long i forgot what water out of the sky is called...its no drought breaker but we're getting lite showers off and on...beggars cant be choosers.
 
Western part of Ohio got up to 6" last night, in a narrow band only about 20 miles wide. Went from up near Lima Oh., down to north east of Cincy. I could see all kinds of lightning to the west of me, but we didn't get a drop.
 
Guys, It happened today for the first time in a long time. We actually got about 3/4 to 1 in of rain. I too, like BCnT wasn't sure what it was,Had to call my neighbor to be sure.... was 25 miles away from home @ Copperas Cove Tx next to Ft. Hood. Rain came so hard and fast it filled the ditches a every low spot around, It ran through so fast it didn't help much, But it was sure nice to see. My calachie road was so wet and muddy I locked in my F350 4X4 to get the last 1/2 mi home. Last time I locked in on mud was last Sept.
"Keep Praying for RAIN" like Dougs song said.

I want to get down there for that someday! I like listening to Doug and enjoy when he's cutting up just as well.


Looks like you folks are getting some more grow juice as we speak. I just check the radar and there's a whole lot of rain down that way! It's a blessing indeed!
