Got to do my least favorite job today, unclogging a round baler. Fortunately that particular model of Vermeer rarely clogs(505I).
To add some interest, the tractor pto clutch needs adjusting.

Struggled in the field with the clog for a while, then gave up and went to the house where I could get a big iron bar after it. Then I had to take the tension off the belts so I could untwist one. Hay is just so-so. Haven't had enough rain.

When ya get done on that side of the Enoree, come on over and bale up my dandelions!!! Had a great field of fescue up until I let a guy cut it for the hay, now full of those dandelions, thistle trees and briars

This is a bad year for dandelions. Last year I got fed up with them in the yard and applied 2,4d, but need to do it again.

I think a locust tree would sprout if there was a 1 inch piece of root left. Been fighting them in the yard for years.

Crossed the Enoree 4 times today, taking cows to the Saluda sale,

Yep, driving to town today I saw a sea of yellow in some places. I have been after them here for four years and this am I shot everyone i could find on 3 acres with a gallon and a half portable sprayer. A little Grazon mist.

IF I were stilling working this plot, Id probably clean it up. I do have a guy who wants to rent it, just dont know 100% for sure yet. Dad had some deal with the state not to plant it, I guess like the CPS program, but I dought thats still in effect now. Wife thinks its "pretty". I do plan on knocking them down this weekend.

I've never bothered doing a thing about dandelions and they don't seem to be that big of problem. Neighbour chases them and sprays and gets a huge crop.
