BIL has 3 of what appear to be buckboard frames, came with the place, complete with
all the springs, running gear(hubs) steps. Some rotted wheels,
trying to imagine what this would bring at auction. I was thinking
of listing it all with craigs for him, any thoughts?

Where are you located? The Amish will more than likely be interested in those buggies and any other horse equipment you may have! Armand

DON,T expect Jake and the boys would give ya much Dan, be better to try some city slickers down in cowtown , please don,t mention them to my wife though ok pal.lol

If they look antique, You can make a nice flower bed out of them... Couple of places around here have them that the cut 6-8 inch pine logs the length of the trailer and stacked them in real nice/bound them tight. Then, leavind a border of one log lengthways and about a foot at the ends, they cut out the top layer, Filled it with potting soil and planted flowers and herbs. As time passes, the logs will decay and compost from inside. You just keep the outside sealed and it will outlast you.

You might find someone who would buy them, but here in Pa that ship has sailed. With gasoline at $4 a gallon, guys need that more than an old buggy. Good luck though it only takes one buyer.

Howdy TM, Bil likely to take the first offer, does not have any real interest other then make himself abit more storage area. Good to hear from you.Take care. Dan

They would probably not be interested, could not use enough parts to be worth anything. There new buggies even if they are the steel tire from some sects or the rubber tire from others do not use that type of wheel hub anymore, they have roller bearings in the wheels now and the old style non bearing hubs they do not want as they pull too hard and take too much maintaince. My friends are in the sect with the steel tire and open top buggies altho go the same distance from me the other way they have the rubber tire and closed buggies. But all are roller bearings and a lot with hydrolick brakes. Only an antique collector will pay for them other than the junk man.
