Ford 2000 and tiller

Will a 1971 Ford 2000 drive slow enough to run a 3 point tiller?

This has a 3 cyl gas engine. I haven"t seen it yet but the guy said it had a high/low range 4 speed transmission.

Also do you know if it has a live pto?

Thanks!

They came with or without a live PTO,check it out before you buy. It will run a tiller,a 6 foot would probably be a little big for it,5 foot would be better, run it in low range and 1st gear.

i have a 4 ft tiller I use with my 1973 ford 2000 It came with the tractor, but a 5 ft would be better, I think a 5 ft would be just right for the 2000 a 6 ft might be too much

id say your right, that 2000 probably just plays with that 4 footer a 5 would be better and still keep enough reserve power in the tractor to work through the hard spots, it should also be wide enough to cover your tire tracks
