Notice that I did not ask "How much does a 9 ton Eager Beaver trailer WEIGH?" because I know someone would say "9 TONS! HAW HAW HAW!"
Okay, so what's the tare weight on a 9 ton Eager Beaver trailer? It's a tri-axle bumper pull.
I want to pull it with a 3/4 ton pickup truck, loaded with a Farmall H and a 2-bottom plow. Yes, it's a little overkill but the price is right.
The problem is, I don't want to end up with a trailer that's so HEAVY on its own that it takes up all my truck's tow capacity.
If I were to pull an axle to lighten it up and make it easier to tow, the front axle would probably be best, right?
