Found a tripe axle trailer with axles on spring ride instead of walking beam and stub axles . I like these trailers my old trailer is shot I can’t keep tires on it they guy I traded has tandem axles and he wants to put them under my old trailer when he gets it . I’ve made a lot of money with this old trailer and I’m glad I could work a trade on it . My cousin has a tri axle just like what I’m trading for and I really like the design

Never had a problem with it . I guess if you are jack knifing all
the time it could be hard on tires . That tri axle ten times
easier on tires than the red trailer in the last 25 yesrs it hasn’t
used half as many tires

We have had the exact same trailer for over 20 years with no issues . Never had a problem with mobile home axles either

I’m not sure but I think it goes on the spring hangers

I buy 14 ply low boy tires locally for around 120$ installed . I Think when I had them reweld the cross brace between the two walking beam axle sets they didn’t get it straight because that’s about the time all the trouble began . I’ve drug that old red trailer all over hauling a lot of weight and never had a problem until lately . The guy I traded with has a set of tandem dually axles he wasn’t to put under it . I actually like the tri axle setup a lot better one it has springs and two I can buy a regular axle and throw under it I need too . I was going to buy a set of axles but by the time I did that I could buy a used trailer ready to go

I had trouble keeping tires on my 22,400 tandem dual gooseneck. I suspect that it could have had something to do with the loads that I was carrying at highway speed.

This one will burn a set new tires off in less than 200 miles .
Pretty sad to watch 800$ Worth of tires burn off in two loads
the tires never had a problem hauling loads at 80 mph
freeway speed . I’m not sure what’s it doing but it won’t be
doing it here anymore
