He didn't buy a hauling vehicle. Since it was one time only, he used what he had. His friends told him that he would be OK if he was careful and took it slow and went on Sunday AM. Same as on this board 20 times a year.

There's some special situation that caused this accident this video doesn't show. The Rolls is sitting next to the trailer it was loaded on, the Land Rover pulling the trailer has spun, flipped, and been struck by the trailer on the front, back, top, and both sides.
Yes, the Land Rover probably wasn't big enough to tow the Rolls. But how many pictures of 3/4 or 1 ton trucks pulling goosenecks with 35,000-40,000# of big hay bales have we all seen?

That is why I bought a F550 when a F350 probably would have been OK.

Exactly! Just the other day I seen a 1 ton Dodge go by with a 379 Peterbilt on a gooseneck.
