Steel floor trailer seams

Ive got a steel floor car hauler trailer. They butted pieces of metal together and welded them the welds don't go fully across the whole trailer about every few inches you have a short weld.
This is a brand new factory trailer.
I have thought about using automotive seam sealer or 3m window weld sealer to keep water and dirt from getting into those areas and eventually causing rust.

Thsnks for tips and advice

Before putting in that kind of effort I would crawl under it and see if there are more significant areas of potential rust damage to worry about.

Moonlight, "sealer to keep water and dirt from getting into those areas and eventually causing rust."

You are looking for areas to prevent rust. It is more likely under than on top.

Seams flex. Most sealers don't last on a butt seam. I've never tried moonlight sealer.
Places where you have overlap of the steel plate are more likely to rust through. You could weld the remaining seam. Short welds to prevent warping.
It takes years for any real damage depending on the environment your in.
Best to store under roof if you can. That takes square footage of shed space.
