Just got this 2006 2500. 4 door,6 1/2 ft box, FWD, 5.7 with a factory hitch. 2 in, not the 2 1/2. Any idea what the rating is? Nothing in the manual and I have searched Google so much they gonna file for a restraining order.

I tried that. It only goes back to 2009. And you can't use it to compare as you need a serial number. Thanks anyway.

If It fits it ships

Most 2 in receivers are rated at 10,000# IF used with an equalizer hitch but drop to #5000 with a regular ball mount. Most people totally ignore this and load them until they either break off or bend the frame where they are attached. I have replaced or repaired dozens and dozens in the last 40 years. Use common sense.

are you that spread out, you always hauling some sort tractor. that get old real fast to me and we have farms 15 miles apart, only thing gets hauled is skidloader. just curious is all

Fixed 2 last year that were pulling loaded Fertilizer Buggies, One on a 450 Ford hauling a TL 90 New Holland. One pulling a lowboy and a compact John Deere and a rotary Cutter doing 50 Miles an hour, no brakes on trailer, light changed and driver slammed on the brakes and the hitch tube broke and the whole rig ended up in the median. I could write a book.

That?s a mess alright . A guy should be wracking at Least 1/4 mile ahead and to both sides and rear when hauling things
