The original subject was "Re: Stake Pocket D Rings?".
Bought a set of 4 and was tickled. Until I tried to use them and discovered that the stake pockets are not all the same size - about half of them are just a bit too narrow to fit the shaft of the D ring. The one I happened to do a test fit on before I bought the D rings was one of the "right" sized ones.
Now I either try to grind a bit off the shafts, or have my welder replace the undersized pockets. An leaning for the second option - no sense making things weaker.
