I haul a 850B case dozer on a 32 ft dual tandem wt of dozer about 18500 with a 86 dodge 1t 360 gas burner. No problems also no big hills just make sure your trailer brakes work good.

When I was a kid, we didn't have them fancy pickup trucks and big trailers. If the field was 20 miles away, we DROVE the tractor there, and we liked it.

Hi JC,

My book lists a 4430 at 10k to 13k#, depending on year, so thats about 27kGCW or a easy heavy pull for a 1-ton.

Cost effective for OTR? Not on my pocket book but for 3 to 4 times a year, I'd pull it with my F350 DRW.

Haul this sort of load all the time with 1t. & 34ft dual tandem trailer.Just be sure to get heavy enough liscence for your load.Total wt. is probably around 32000-34000lbs loaded.

You are probably talking 14-15,000 lbs if no fluid in the rear tires.Tractors like this are hauled all the time by similar rigs in my area with no problems. All it takes is a little common sense.

Some will tell you that you need a semi to haul an 8N Ford.

Tractor alone ( no cab, loader, weights ) should weigh about 10K#

I think you are asking for major liability problems attempting to haul a 4430 with that setup.
