Hauling IH 815

Hi All,

I m trying to sell my International 815 combine and need to transport it from Edgar, NE to Cross Timbers, MO (6 1/2 hour trip one way).

It s measurements are:

118" to outside of tires
24 overall length
19 from front of feeder house to rear tires
146" tall
And roughly 16,000lbs

Is there anyone who would be willing to haul something like this? Also would be curious on the cost of hauling as well.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Over width and over height when placed
on trailer. I would suggest leaving
that with the professional haulers.
Might find a local dealer willing to do
it. They should know what the
requirements are for over dimension
load. Trying to "sneak through " can
easily turn into a financial nightmare.

I've seen combines hauled with the wheels removed, setting down on blocks on a lowboy trailer. Might get this one low enough and narrow enough.

In addition to Freight Star (Fr8star?) you should also check out the hauling schedule forum. Click the logo in the top left corner of the page to go out to the main page, and it's in the column on the left.

Well it?s narrower and lighter than a 7700 and it fit
without taking the wheels off . Check with some
companies that actually do the work . The ytdot is
almost never right about anything

Valley transportation is my go to people for loading things. They have lowboy trailers for moving combines and sprayers with the slide out out riggers. I would also not go with the cheapest sneak it through guy either. One time caught without the permits will hold things up a long time. Permits are the cheap part of the move. About 100.00 for the permits and probably about 1500-2500 for freight cost.
