Have this old Boss snow plow. Two electrical plugs. The lights work-the V sides run in and out. There is a toggle switch on the side that when engaged kind of lifts the plow and attaches to the truck with locking pins.I can't get that toggle switch to work. It worked last year when I unhooked the plow. Need to check for juice of course. Any ideas????

90% of failed wiring is due to a bad ground. Check all grounds

Thank you fellas--it was a grounding issue. Cleaned those up and it know works. I have another OT Question coming up that maybe you folks can help me with. Will post a new thread---Concerning a Mercedes Benz sl500 retractable hardtop.

All the hydraulics and lights on the plow work except for the hydraulic cylinder that lifts the plow and locks it into position...

Pushed hard and put up wet.

Most likely the switch is corroded or bad.

Did you remember the control has to be float mode for that toggle to work?
