Have you seen the orbiting tool bag in the sky? I'm planning to try tomorrow. You can too. If I spot it I'll report back. Please do the same.

I had a great view tonight and with my 10x binoculars propped on my truck door for stability I didn't see the tool bag. It was either too faint or too close to the ISS to make out. I'm pretty confident I'd have spotted it if it had been possible with binoculars like they said. I'll try again tomorrow but no longer hopeful. Oh well.

I won't look for it but will be glad if others do and post back.
And no, they're not Snap Ons.
They were stamped using the original Craftsman dies from 1971 but they're made of ultimanium.

I missed it last night. I doubt if Ill see the bag but I will be out watching the space station tonight. A year or so ago when SpaceX launched all those satellites it Looked like an invasion earth movie. 30-50 strung out shooting across the sky.

I think I have a good chance tonight. It's only going to be visible for 3 minutes, but will reach 80 degrees above the horizon. My 10x binoculars are ready to go and I have an alarm clock set so that I don't forget to look up at 6:50 PM. Wish me luck!

For the Government. A $100,000 tool bag would only hold an 8" crescent wrench and a pair of pliers.

International Space Station astronauts were on a spacewalk and one of them lost hold on the tool bag and now it is floating in space ahead of the space station.
