Steve, That looks very similar to my Matco I bought 30yrs+ ago. USA made and replacement jaws are available for it, I broke one and purchased a new set. I have another Youngstown about same size but the Matco a way better vice. Third Party Image

Has resemblance a Wilton. Mac contracts out or rebadges several products just as Snap-on, Matco, Craftsman, Cornwell.

My boy wanted my old vice and work bench out of my old workshop. It weighs about 175# and the back jaw is movable.

I think the vice was made in early 1900 in Printis, Ny.

That was a great vice. Had one similar. Had a flat anvil for lighter duty anvil jobs. (brake linings etc.)
Good swivel base and the bottom now was designed to grip iron pipe. When used as designed they were
the cat's purr. How many farmers, backyard mechanics used things as they were designed? Rev. Kris

Looks like a decent vise. How old is it? I consider the quality by it's age. The older it is, the better. Quality and brunt was so much better for the price years ago.

Absolutely a fine chunk of metal. It will stay operational for several lifetimes. Don't use it for a welding vice, don't beat it with a 6 pound sledge, and remember to lube the screw ans ways every year. Jim
