Hercules battery

They have a good deal on a grease gun, but it is tool only. I can't find an adapter for a Makita battery to the Hercules tools. Any ideas?

Hercules batteries are pretty reasonable. If it was me I'd probably just buy a Hercules battery and charger. Usually you get a discount from Harbor Freight if you buy a tool, battery and charger.

Make your own adapter if you have a 20v dewalt battery.

Buy this off Amazon.

All my cordless tools use a 20v dewalt battery.

Agree with the Hercules battery, especially since it and the charger carry a 3yr warranty. The tool is 5 years. New thing for HF

You've got two choices if you're not up to making your own adapter:

1. Don't buy the Hercules grease gun.
2. Buy the Hercules battery and charger.

Makita does make a grease gun. It's pushing $300 for the tool only, BUT you don't have to juggle an extra battery and charger.

I stopped by HF this morning and asked the manager if I had read last night's ad correctly. Buy the charger and 5 AH battery and the grease gun was free. He did not know, so we rang up the sale and the total was $129.00. Retail on the GG is $139.00 So I came home with a new grease gun. After having the fingers reattached to my left hand a few years ago, I think I might do a better job of lubing things around here.
