Im setting up a 10 x 12 foot dedicated woodworking shop. Interior will be white. I will be installing good quality two foot
strip lights. Do you have a light to recommend?

That's a pretty small shop, must be for small projects, no 4 X 8 sheets! I would think 4 foot lights would be more common and cost effective, but I have little experience with LED's.

I put 4' LEDs in almost all my work rooms, garage, hangar, etc. Best thing I did. Got them in packs off Amazon. Can be chain linked.

Agreed. Inexpensive 4 foot LED's from Amazon. About $40 for a 4-pack.

I have two rows of 4 lighting a 20x24 shop. Plenty of light with white walls and ceiling and I'm on the wrong side of 70 so good light is important.

I have 4 of these in a 2.5 car garage....

I put 2 ft x 40 ft natural lights down both sides of my pole barn. I love natural lighting. No need for lights during the day.

I hung 4 ft LEDs down the middle of the rafters. I don't use them, except at night.
I got my 4ft 5000 Lumens 5000K bright white LEDs from RK 3 years ago for about $10. Anything less than 5000K will be yellow light.

I put lights over my workbench and Lathe.

I agree with others. Why not 4'? I think you get more bang for your buck. Between my basement garage and 2 barns, I have 36 4' that have been there for 6+ years. Replaced 4' fluorescence and couldn't be happier.

Thank you to each of you for your input. At this time I plan on going with four 48 inch replaceable LED bulb fixtures. Fixture and bulbs are about $45.00 each at Menards. 10 x 12 is a small building but I am ready to have a dedicated woodworking shop, keeping the dust out of my main shop (and freeing up space).
