I have my Dad's old welder generator. It runs fine, but there is an issue with a small square electrical box of sorts, located down low, under the cover on the left side as you face the front of it. Maybe 2
inches square, and it is just bolted on, and has 4 wires on spade lugs attached to it. It gets somewhat rusty sitting, even though it is under cover and tarped. Usually I just removed the wires from the
spades and lightly clean them up with sandpaper and it works fine. Now however, one of the spades has rusted pretty much off. I was able to force it on today and make it work, but I would like to replace
whatever this part is. I have tried to look online to see what it is called, but so far have not found it. When the terminals are rusty, it produces a very weak spark, but won't weld or generate power. Once
the terminals are cleaned up it works fine. Anybody have any clue what this part would be called? I took a picture with my phone, as I didn't have an actual camera with me. And I don't know how to attach a
picture from my phone to the computer! I could probable text a picture to somebody, or at another time take a picture with an actual camera and try to attach that. Thanks
