Wilson bumble bee welder (scrap value?)

I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is alot of copper weight in this welder or if I'd be better off selling it as a working unit?

Take it apart and separate the sheet metal from the windings there is a solid chunk of copper in those, and worth more when taken apart. Jim

Ok thanks, will do. I plugged it in and tried its shorted somewhere and one of the coated transformers on the bottom was melting so there's something wrong with it anyways.
