Trolley Jack: is hydraulic fluid critical?

Good afternoon: I have a small hydraulic floor jack, what I call a trolley jack. It has gotten where it will not raise fully, I assume due to low fluid level. ( I have never noticed signs of leakage on my concrete floor). Is it OK to use Hy-Tran, which is meant for tractors?
. BTW, its label says 4000 lbs, Shinn Fu Co., Taiwan.

The hytran will be fine. It just has extra additives that are
not needed for a jack, but wont hurt anything.

They're not real picky, any light oil will work.

I usually use ATF.

Do not use brake fluid!
