Just saw an article where it is going to be hot. In Texas and the Southwest this summer. 115 to 125. Seems pretty normal to me.

Yeah, it would take a super special crystal ball to predict that it is going to get hot in Texas and the southwest this summer. (sarc)

Billy , I don't know how accurate weather people in the US are , I do hope they're better than ours .
The staff at the Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology couldn't find their own @r$$ with a map and a torch let alone tell you if it was going to be hot or rain tomorrow . I suspect that they would be better at guessing the winning numbers in next week's lottery than giving an accurate weather prediction .
I rely on listening to frogs now , they haven't been wrong once in the 30 years I've had my farm .

Predicting the same for the entire midwest, and we should expect brownouts and even some blackouts.

It is all just a ploy to build more solar and wind farms.

The last good one we had. Was Harold Taft. If he said it would snow
in July it snowed. Farmers lived by what he said. And he did it all
by reading the maps and guess work. None of this modern crap for
him.

You should look him up.

Makes me wonder if the gov is hedging the numbers just a little, trying to promote their agenda!

I've never seen it get to 125. That is some serious heat.

The sky IS falling!
-it will be so hot the electic grid will fail..
-the crops will need so much water, the ground sources will run out of water
-people will use too much precious gasoline sitting in their cars trying to keep cool.
-guaranteed somebody will die..
-there will be abandoned property in TX due to migration to Canada...not enough taxes collected. Have to raise taxes on the ones who stayed behind.
-this IS not global warming, just a cycle the earth goes through.
-gotta be our leadership fault somehow...
-good way to bake adobe bricks
oh my...just being silly this am...too damp to mow here..Leo

Sounds normal to me also. Dont know about the 115-126, but its a safe bet it will be over 100* from now till mid-September. Bad part is its so dry everything is brown now.

Channel 5. He predicted it would snow in May one year. It didn't snow that winter and has never snowed in May.......it did! Forget the year.
