Using my box's 8 volts variable power supply to charge an 18650 lithium cell.

I will rate it and will be ready when needed,

I can still smell the glue/traction compound are what ever it was they put on the tires.

In the winter I use to take the kids every Saturday night to a indoor track those racers got into it big time. They could pick out the best of all the battery's and motors. They put those battery's thru ell they had some interesting test/diagnostic Equitment.

We would walk thru the pits and ask questions the racers were into it bigtime. It was a science to pick out the best battery's and motors : ) it was beyond my pay scale.

It did have a unique smell. We ran a pan car in ovals, carpet and concrete. Tires on both was the key. We were running dual
compound tires for the carpet oval, both on the stock class. After I saw a grown man cutting commutators on a stock motor
which was NOT allowed...... YEA! he was running against my 14 year old driver, we switched to modified.

Batteries were the story, as much as $10 per cell for the high rated ones. We did pick up a battery sponsor. That is just part
of the story. You built the car from a kit. Some variables? Suspension set-up; hydraulic shocks oil weight, toe-in; final
gears ratio; tires, wing size and angle to name a few,

Lots of fun for the driver, the pit crew, ME did all the work, and the sponsor, ME, paid for the fun,

Guido.
