The amp meters I put together for my
battery work. One is out of a thermoking
refrigeration system, the other one was
from the battery charger we had at work. The box came from a gasoline explosimeter,

Guido.

NICE JOB, gotta love those practical home engineered projects. I have an old smart 3 stage 70 amp battery charger out of an RV I use but need to add a series ammeter, I like the big old fashion looking units (even like in the old Frankenstein movies lol) I will find one somewhere.

Thanks for posting

I have one I could use, but a permanent hard wired ammeter is soooooooo handy and convenient installed on a battery charger (why most have them). No hassle or need to pull out my amprobe yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Take care good neighbor, as always to each their own tools and procedures when charging a battery, I prefer a hard wired ammeter on battery chargers...
