Worn Tiller Tines

Have a IH tiller mounted on a 1980 1200 Cub Cadet that has worn tines. Is there a fix for them? Cutting off the worn portion and welding on fabricated ends maybe?

Will admit I have not looked for new replacements.

Welding will probably ruin the heat treatment (important for this application). Suggest finding new replacements.

here are many companies that sell new tiller tines. Even Amazon.

I have no idea where to get them, but if anybody knows, somebody on onlycubcadets.net will know.

You'll have to register, but that is easy and painless. Ask on there, a lot of things are available, if you know where to look.
Only Cub Cadets

I have bought from Messicks.

when it says 0 on hand call , it doesn't necessarily mean that an item is no longer available.

on a side note to the original poster, I bought two Howard rotovator's with worn out tines and took all the tines off and cut replacement pieces from the tines to weld on to enough tines to equip just one tiller and have had no issues bending tines during use.

it takes a little time but it is possible to do, The time consumed would not be beneficial if I was hired to do it, cheaper to just buy them .
