It might sound odd,,but I Watched a lot of you tube videos ,about small wood shops
Took some of the tips,,and made a point to follow them
I have noticed a big difference in my hobby time ,this year,,after I Rearanged the little spoon shop,,and got the dustopper hooked up to the shop vac
the hose can slip on to the bandsaw,,and reaches the sander when I need it
the shop is very small
One of the tips was,,have a place for everything,,,and put everything in its place
When you keep doing that,,it becomes second nature after a while,,and cleanup each day is really fast
Also,,when working on the bench,,its just as easy to hang a tool back up as you are working,,then leave it laying,,,because,,if you keep laying stuff on the bench in a small shop,,youll have no room to work
the stuff you use most often ,,should be easy acess,,,and easy to put back,,if you need it again during the project,,,you know where it is,,instead of fummbling around looking for it
Idont use the table saw much,,but when I need it,,I roll it out from the corner
that gives more room for the shop area
the little harbor freight sanders get put onto the bench,,when needed,,and the vacuum hose slipped on
the most often used hand tools are right beneath the bench
And the best tip of all was to clean up when done,,put everything back in its place,,so when you start again,,its pleasurable
These are tips that worked for me,,and made my hobby work much more fun
Your results may vary,,,,lol,,its just something I Did grab from woodworkers,,on you tube videos
