My dad always had this one in his fence fixin box along with the conventional one that we all are use to.
However, I cant rembember him using it or HOW he used it. Well made, good sturdy jaws, but when the jaws are closed two holes are formed.
Does anyone know how it was used?

I would use those holes to pull a staple out of a wooden post. My fence pliers have a hook on one end rather than two hammer faces.

The pair I have similar to those have the holes closer to the edge so they can get under the staples easily to pull them out. They work very good for pulling the staples.

Thx for the correct name as the other post said also. I figured they were used in such manner, but we always used the other with the hook on it most often. Does kinda look like a bull nose dont it!,

I wish I had half of the ones I have lost, You would think as I got older I would get better at keeping track but no I have gotten worse. I usually buy the two pack at TSC. And, then there is the jean pockets I have wrecked.
