Got a track light that won't light .Have power to the feed piece but when it is plugged in no power to track itself. All matching type H track light .Should plug straight in and work.

If the supply is good, it must have an open in the connection cover at the end. Some get the copper strip disconnected from a clip. Testing with a meter in the strip can help assess. A person I knpw insisted the bulb was good until I proved it was new and bad. Jim

I think I know what it is the feed is jammed into the wrong side It must be reversed by feeding into the other end .Now I know why it was hard to get in. Neut /ground on one side will switch to the other end to correct polarity . I'm pretty sure if I feed the other end problem solved.
