Fm interior antenna

The fm radio station I listen to lost some of its power & living in a rural area, our reception is not good now that they reduced there power. I have old radio with cassette player with 2 wires for antenna connection. What interior antenna do you guys recommend?

the two connections in back are most likely for an am loop antenna unless indicated otherwise.there maybe a jack for an external ant a length of wire will work. if you have a model number a google may turn up the specs

If by "two wires" you mean 2 side by side screw terminals like the old, old TV sets used to have you can make your own antenna out of some TV twin-lead. Google "FM dipole antenna" & look for instructions for making one. Then you can tack it up on the wall broadside to the direction the signal is coming from.

If you can still find it the old 300 ohm antenna wire you can make a dipol antenna. Cut 2 pieces 5 foot long then at the ends strip and wire together and in the middle of each on one side hook it up to the places on the radio and mount then in a T

all things considered just take a small gauge piece of wire loop it around the room and hook it to the terminals. If that does not give you satisfactory results put an FM antenna outside as high as you can get it. If you are a purest you will use a coaxial cable RG59, RG6 or RG11 and a balum at the screws on the receiver but it will work if you connect the center conductor to one screw and the braid to the other screw.

My post tell him how to do just that. I've made a good many of them over the years

If your radio has a 50 ohm coax antenna connector in addition to the 300 ohm screws, you can just stick a piece of wire into the center of the coax jack.

(quoted from post at 13:59:28 02/07/21) Now find me a woman who is going to let you staple a brown wire "T" to any indoor wall.

Conversely, what man lets a woman dictate where he can staple a wire?

Ok guys. Have an fm antenna question. I have 3 of these radios that have a single rabbit ear type scoping antenna mast for receiving fm. Have already tried tin foil. How do I hook up some type of indoor/ outdoor fm antenna that will have 2 wires? Keep it out in the barn playing music for the animals 24/7. Sometimes the station fades in and out.
