Winch control wiring

I have a 110 volt 440 lb winch that someone has cut the control off. Does anyone have the schematic for wiring up a remote to it?
There are 4 wires black white blue and brown. I assume 2 are power and the other 2 are forward and reverse. Any help is appreciated.

Wouldn't happen to be a Horror Fright, would it?

Really need a brand and model to research it. With that you might be able to find an owners manual or wiring diagram online.

Otherwise open up the electrical cover and see how it is wired. There may be a diagram inside the cover, or you can see how it is wired.

With 4 wires, my guess would be the green is a safety ground, one of the others will be a common, connecting it to either will will send it up or down.

But assume nothing, connecting it wrong can burn something out.
