Chainsaw case

Anyone know where to get a cheap chainsaw case? I looked at Ebay and most are around $50 - I would think a decent used one would be found for half but the shipping is
enormous on these things.

I bought a new Echo chainsaw about a year ago. I then ordered a case for it. The thing came in a flat box. The actual case was all flat panels that snapped together to make the case. It's a very nice sturdy case. The fact that it ships in a flat box should lower the shipping charge on it.

Pawn shop. The pawn shops here have them and you generally get a junk saw inside that you can just throw away.

was in a thrift store the other day, (cant remember if it was the vets store or the blind store) , there were 3 or 4 empty cases there, and they need your money. mark55

I drilled all of my Echo cases at the top and bottom then zip tied all of the panels together. Makes great little storage boxes for all kinds of stuff. Just leave the small panel in that the bar cover goes through..

My saw case exist of just the bar sheath drilled so that a small bungie cord can be wrapped around the handle to hold it on.
