Sidewalk is a tool right?

I have some holes in my sidewalk, looks like air bubbles/rocks that popped out. Some are small, some are as big as my thumb. What would be the best to fill them with? Would a concrete joint caulk be the right answer?

Hello Pastdeere,

One part cement, two part sand one part lime.
Mix it in a consistency that is easy to push in the holes,

Use non shrink grout. Chip the edges out a little and then use air and clean the holes out. Then put the grout in it and trowel it smooth.

I may have to wait to when I need a bunch of those materials since I only have a half dozen sized holes and nobody seems 1/2 lb containers of them.

I have filled similar holes in my driveway with Sakrete right out of the bag and it has done just fine. Use a small kitchen spoon to dish it into the hole and then moisten the area with a mist of water so you don't wash the concrete out of the hole. Once damp, use the spoon to push any excess concrete into the hole to make sure it is full and smooth across the top. Hydraulic cement should also work fine and can be purchased in small quantities.
