Looking at a security system for a barn about 60 miles away from my home. The is a BarnOwl system that seems doable. Anyone out there have experience with these?

A weekend property up the road from us was hit last weekend - fortunately, he had surveillance cameras installed, so law enforcement has a good description of the car used as well as the soon-to-be-incarcerated guys.

Once you made the choice of camera, which I highly recommend, add a "game" camera watching your other cameras. It is easily hidden in a nearby tree, or a birdhouse on a post.
License plates and car description helps.
On advice from an attorney, do not post signs that are threatening, like "if you can read this you are in range" type of signs.
Post a sign saying this place is monitored. By what is up to you.
