injector pump trouble

hi i have a international 685xl 1983 , it was running fine a week ago when came to start it last Saturday it would not start. it has been well serviced in the last month or so. it has a new plunger fuel pump and new filters but i now cannot get any fuel out of the injector pipes. took the inlet fuel pipe off the injector pump and pumped it and have fuel coming out ok. took the out or the return pipe off the pump and nothing comes through the injector pump. This also goes to the heater plug so its not getting any fuel, does any one know if these bosch va pumps gives trouble like this.

Hello Brumm Welcome to YT! Although you probably
consider your tractor a very useful tool, the Tool Talk
section is probably not the best location to post your
issue. I would suggest posting it on the Farmall and
IHC section. Copy to text in your current post , then
below your post is a box with ...hop to or jump to ..
with a small arrow. Click the arrow and select the
Farmall and IH topic section. Then create a post there
and paste your wording in. I looked briefly at the
online parts pages for your tractor. I see there are two
possible engines and styles of shut down control
systems. I did not try to figure out which applied to
your tractor by the year. They both use a cable. I
would make sure you are getting proper movement
out of the cable allowing the pump to return to run or
fuel delivery mode. This may require disconnecting
the shut down control at the pump and holding it in
the proper direction to see if fuel is then being
supplied to the inj. lines. Another thing you might try is
to open the timing window ..no. 71 in link..to see if the
pump is turning, which I am hoping for your sake it is.
If you post this in the IH topic section and you don’t
seem to get a reply in a day or two I will post a link for
you to email a pump repair person who post here as
Dieseltech. My suggestions are based on general
diesel repair knowledge I have never worked on your
tractor model. BTW you can view your entire tractors
