Odd [to me] hinge

I'm refinishing a pantry, likely near 100 years old. The hinges are a style I've never encountered. It resembles a standard butt hinge but it has no central pin. Instead, both of the outer barrels have a cast, conical nipple. Both faces of the central barrel have recesses. I assume the halves must have been pressed together. Please educate me on the proper name for this style and any additional information you can add.
TIA.

i think it is called a tight pin butt hinge. I think it has a pin thet was peened over on one, or both ends. it might be hard to find a match for it. but slightly larger hinges would work. Jim

All I'm seeing is a rusty old butt hinge. May have a peened bottom, but I don't think so. I have rehabbed a LOT of old kitchen and other cabinets in my illustrious career (no emphasis on the illustrious).

That is seemingly a bit odd. We make very heavy duty high quality, high capacity 2000 lb. rated hinges and from what I know about the manufacturing process, the ways they are built are hard to ascertain from a finished product. Really hard to tell how that one is made. The fracture on the one leaf sure is irregular, looks like it was a continuous pin but there is no telling from the photos besides speculation
