Neat old picture. Reminds me of an old trailer mounted flathead V8 Ford air compressor I had that (if I recall correctly, no warranty lol) used four ???? cylinders to run and the other four ???? to pump air.

When I was a kid, the guy who ran the local machine shop had one like that mounted in the back of his big service truck. That flathead v8 didn't have a muffler on it, and us boys loved to hear it run.

The two center pistons on each bank. Special heads. They have the weirdest beat when they run. Will put out 125 cubic feet per minute no problem.

A bit off the subject, but.......I noticed the sign in the pic says GREASING. Do any cars get GREASED anymore?
