Back up batteries

Hello,

They are the best I ever used! 20 year shelf life, and rated from 140* F. To -40* F. They are hot though @1.8 volts.

I use them on a power shade, and outlast all others I have tried by at lesst 50%,

That's what I use for the memory back up batteries on the CNC lathes at work.

The original batteries were special and expensive. I found some 4 battery AA holders on Ebay, they even had the correct pigtail harness plug.

They last several years, never had one leak.
 
What I like about those batteries is they work in the cold, as you mentioned. Outdoor wireless thermometer, trail cam, glove box flash light, etc.. I wish there was a C size also. I ordered a 24 pack from Woot and they were less than alkalines from Wally World.

The other plus is there heavy use life.
 

With a shelf life like that Guido they would be ideal for keypads in small solenoid operated safe doors . No real chance of being caught out by flat batteries and no back up key :oops: BTDT.
 
I put a set in a game camera and they've been in there 4-5 years at least. Don't use the camera a lot, but still.

Popped them out and checked the voltage a month or so ago and they're still 1.6xx each. Pretty impressive.

keast they did, chech the interweb. They may stillbd a availeable,

Yes they are Ken , it's dreadful how people are lulled into a false sense of security. I used his process to open it when the batteries failed.
I use mine to keep poisons locked up securely in my shed . If a thief opens it they are welcome to have a drink on me :arrow: :shock:

The adapter is more of a conviniance. No AA BATTERY has more Mah
then a C size battety, if i recall correctly C size alkaline
capacity is about 8000 Mah,
