Nothing of real value other than sentimental. Montgomery
Wards paint tool, wire stripper but the safety wire pliers he
sent me while in the Navy. Found those today in one of my
boxes.I was a jet mechanic and that is what he was in civilian
life. Told me he was proud of me for joining during Vietnam,
my Mom cussed me out. The safety wire pliers mean a lot to
me. Too this day I have a flat spot on my head for ruining
several pairs of his making spoke guns. Go figure!

I had [i:cc15de3213]no idea[/i:cc15de3213] that kind of wire stripper had been around so long! First time I saw anything like them was when I bought some from Grainger, back in 1996.

ever see ratchet tube wrenches like this? Got these in box of junk at auction wish I could find more so I could complete set. Anyone have any?

Good evening! I recognize the "Stripmaster", they were in use on Sergeant missile system maintenance in 1962, and most likely earlier.

I have a pair of strippers like that that I acquired back in the 70s and can remember using them in the Army prior to that.

I have a modern pair of wire strippers like that and they work very well. Kudos to whoever invented them.
