1968 Ford 4500 Diesel power steering pump leaking oil into c

New member here- My Ford 4500 TLB accumulates close to five gallons of oil in the 8 quart engine-oil crankcase over time, and loses oil from the power steering reservoir (a tank inside the nose of the front end above the grille). I have gathered that the power steering pump, Plessey C7NN 3N 675F, s/n 17597, can develop a leak at the double-lip seal and leak hydraulic oil from the p/s reservoir into the front of the engine, thus into the oil pan. Any suggestions on rebuild parts and experiences? Thank you!

This site has it. Look to left, click tractor parts, gives menu find your model. Doesn't take rocket scientist to install.

Mr. Wallace:
My most generous thanks to you!!! I just learned what those sections are for! And there?s the part listing. I?ll disassemble the pump and check the shaft surface and number of seals before ordering... the 4500 was something of the red-headed stepchild on parts breaks, I?ve found over the years.
P.S. : I ?m not a rocket scientist, but I DID perform ?Voodoo magic? on an F-101B Voodoo flight simulator. Thanks, again!!!

4500 is a industrial version of the 4000 ag tractor but the steering components are a thing of their own.
The power steering pump has a higher pressure relief valve setting but is the same pump as used on the 65 -70 4000.
Check the pump shaft for wear groves, if they are there and very deep you'll need another pump.

I have a 69 4500 with the same pump.
