Hope the pics post, this my first picture post. Anyway I found this in our barn. I think one of our past horse boarders left it. What is it? There is a heavy cloth strap that is attached across the steel frame. I looks homemade, but it looks like it has a purpose.

I don't have knowledge of horse-related things, but seems like it might work well for quickly working out excessive water after washing a horse. I mean, if you have several horses to wash, anything that can quickly squeegee water would be a time saver, right?

Blanket hanger is my guess, would not work for a saddle, but for horse fly sheets, winter blankets, plausible use for something like that. However, with the mounting flange where it is, it would project from a wall, not something you want in a horse stable.
