I have a 2013 arctic cat 500 , My clutch? went out pulling a drag in my dove field. There is a wet clutch that drives the centrifugal clutch.
The centrifugal clutch has some metal rollers in there and a few plastic spacers. well all the plastic melted and of coarse the centrifugal clutch cant operate properly slide in and out. I know all the rollers and the plastic spacers need replaced for sure. But how do i determine if the Wet clutch is bad? . The wet clutch has like a drum over it with a splined shaft that the centrifugal clutch slides on to. The wet clutch opens up turns the drum hence turns the centrifugal clutch. Inside the drum there are some minor groves but very minor nothing that would insinuate there was a problem. But being i have never taken one apart until now i don't know. I ask for yalls help and advice because y'all have 4 wheelers on your farms and im sure you have worked on them. arctic cat parts has a great diagram but i dont know how to put it on here so you can see . Thanks for any help
