Go ahead and laugh but some snowflake politician will introduce some kind of legislation against them to "make us all safe".

Years ago I made some pieces which I called "Useless Tools" for a local art fair. I completed a combination tool which was a 90 lb. hand sledge with a 9/16" open end wrench on the other end of the handle, a four person garden rake (all handles conveniently placed at 90 degrees from each other), and a precision nailer which was a regular carpenter's hammer with attached gun sights on top. Now I could be in trouble if anyone remembers that.

Stan, your tools sound amazing! If you still happen to have 'em somewhere, snap a photo next time they turn up.

That 4-person rake sounds like a hoot!! *lol*

Well I don't want to be a wet blanket but wait till you see what those two wackadoes in the house want to do about gun control.

YES, that is most DEFINITELY an "assult hammer"!

This week a guy had five Samurai swords confiscated after he cut his father and his girlfriend(?) with one of the swords in a drunken fight.

kcm.MN; I don't have any of those pieces any more. At the time I made them my ideas outran my capabilities by a considerable margin. Eventually the amateurish quality of my work became obvious enough to me that it embarrassed me to see them. Besides, they got in the way. As I remember it the rakes were like a plus sign more than nine feet across, and the hand sledge was what appeared to be a solid block of steel about 6"x6"x9" and at just over 90 pounds it was a nuisance to have to move it around. I don't remember what happened to the hammer.

I know someone that survived a hammer attack from a co-worker. Multiple blows to the back of the head. Lucky to be alive. He had to learn many simple things all over again and one lasting effect is dyslexia.

Good thing he wasn't attacked by a cordless framing nailer. Then for sure we would have to have a permit for nail guns.

Probably gonna have to rename Dead Blow Hammers now. Hmm....Low Recoil Hammer? Nope, recoil sounds like a nug (gun spelled backwards). Ah, we'll now call them Low-Bounce Hammers! :?
