Air Flange/Punch Tool Question

Anyone used any of the air flange/punch tools available from either Harbor Freight or Northern Tool? Harbor Freight says theirs will flange up to 16 gauge max and Northern Tool says 14 gauge. Just wondering how well either of them works. Thanks.

I have one, and it's flanged everything I've wanted it to, without checking to see the thickness of the tin.

Also, the punch is great for making plug welds with a MIG.

Used 3 on a job for about a year. Punched countless holes in SS flashing. I think I replaced the main unit once, but that was it. I tend to lean towards no oil being the downfall of that one. They were all from hf.

I got one from Harbor Freight. Did about 12" of flange and maybe dozen holes and died. Make noise but wouldn't move head. Took it back got another. Put regulator on line and limited it to 90 psi just in case excess pressure damaged first one. It punched about 6 holes and did the same. All this in 16 gauge. Took it back and got a credit. Still looking for one and have about decided to pay for a Sunex or pay the Mac/Matco/Snap-on price for something decent. Amazed anyone has had success with a HF air tool.
