A few weeks back I posted about a Garmin GPS that the sound went bad, garbled, sounded like a blown speaker.
I found a speaker, same ohms and watts, slightly different but fit. It didn't change a thing...
Before I changed it I went online and did an update, just to see if that would fix it. It didn't.
Today I tried to use it, she is all messed up! Even though I can barely understand what she says, she always says turn left, even when the route says turn right! LOL
And it sometimes shows I am on a different road paralleling the one I am actually on!
Anyway, I think I'm done with it, kinda afraid to spend anything on it.
I was looking on Ebay at some 7 inch screens and wireless back up camera. I like those features. Also something about Bluetooth, I assume for the sound to come through the truck speakers? The truck, a 2013 Silverado, has Bluetooth capability. But, I also want to be able to use this in the other car, which I don't think has Bluetooth. I don't care about back up camera on it.
Any suggestions for a replacement? Any to avoid?
