Battery charger handle

Geo-Th shared a good idea and only buys the best as long as it's free. Here's an idea I thought of yesterday. This little old charger's plastic handle broke off years ago and my neighbor's is the same so it must be common. I thought of using angle brackets and wood handle out of my junk stash (FREE). I didn't have flat brackets but the abrasive cut off made these work. Now I have a solid handle, didn't drill any holes in the charger case and there's a place to wrap the wires.

I LIKE FREE! My grandpa immigrated from Germany in the early 1900, he was 14. I inherited his German Cheap Gene.

Hey tractor. ..you mean this one? I try to keep plastics out of the sunlite or the light from Florencent fixtures. Both have UV and raise havoc with plastics. Found this one at the flea market at least six years ago. Took it all apart and detailed it with Q-tips and car wax. Looks all spiffy. Your repair is very clever. Is that a recycled broom handle?

Different charger, same problem. I stole a rope and handle off a derelict battery and put that on mine.

Oh wow when I was a kid one of the neighbors to the farm was from Holland. They were nice people but he was so...... Lincoln was weeping tears. You get my drift.
