Stihl ms290 muffler mod

I have been looking online at muffler mods for ms290 saws. Has anyone done it, and what where the results? Thanks.
 
Don't know what your looking to do, but one my ms460 I just ground open the muffler hole a little bigger. Dident make the saw any louder, also throw the spark screen in the garbage.

I took the screens out of my MS170 and MS250 and took the baffle out and drilled more holes like in this photo.

Did the same on my ms180c chucked the screen and cover if it had one, cant remember, but the saw runs great, freg the epa.
