Electronic Module Nova11 in place of points

Anybody use these for small garden tractors? I have 2 Simplicity Landlord 2110, having points issues all the time, and have no problems since putting on the electronic ignition. My Stihl chainsaw is so hard starting & was wondering if it would work on a 2 cycle chainsaw?

I've used several of them, worked well.

If the saw has points it will work. It doesn't care 2 or 4 cycle, it fires every time the magnet passes the coil.

I once fixed a B&S with pointless ignition. It wasn't making spark, had one of the point eliminators. Nothing to loose, wired it to the kill wire and it worked!

As Steve stated.

If the saws have point ignition they will work. If not, then no.

I love them. I had a Megafire that went bad once, but they are so cheap on eBay that it's not a big deal to have a spare laying around.

Have a 57 johnson outboard boat engine, put them in 3 or 4 years ago, I do not have a lot of hours on them, but they seam to work for me.

I had one installed on my old Stihl 028. Works fine.

Do not know if it was that particular unit, but I have used the points replacement unit many years ago and it worked great.
