Very few brands in Iowa. It seems to me that the metal is pretty thin for an iron. I would think more iron is necessary to hold the heat!

For breaking up solids in a septic tank before pumping? Could slice through, and mix.

The wood is way to close to the business end to be a branding iron- they heated them by laying them in a fire, and with the wood that close it would have burnt up in short order.

Someone else said chopping up solids in a septic tank. Maybe it could serve double duty and also chop sauerkraut in a barrel. Or no on second thought
maybe not.
